Who we are

Information you give us

Our website has no contact form and no user accounts. When you contact us, you do so by email or phone, so we receive only what you choose to send: typically your name, email address, phone number, company, and the details of the session you want (number of people, location, outfits and how the photos will be used).

When you book a session, we also keep the information needed to provide and invoice it, such as the session date, location, payment of the deposit, and your billing details.

Your photos

The photos we take of you are personal data. We use them only to deliver your session: selecting, retouching and sending your final images. Photos shared with you on the “Customer Access” page are deleted two months after they are posted.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on the site and how you arrived (for example from a Google search or ad). We use it to understand which pages are useful, to measure our advertising, and to keep the site secure and fast.

• Google Analytics, through the Google Site Kit plugin, measures visits and actions on the site, such as a click on a button that opens an email to us. See how Google uses this data.
• Google Ads may record that a visit came from one of our ads and whether it led to an inquiry, so we can measure the results of our advertising.
• WP Statistics counts visits directly on our own server.

You can limit this tracking at any time with your browser’s privacy settings, by blocking cookies, or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You can manage ad personalization in your Google ad settings.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Our site uses analytics and advertising cookies set by Google, as described above. WordPress also sets cookies for site administrators when they log in; ordinary visitors do not receive login cookies.

How we use your information

• To answer your questions and prepare a quote
• To schedule, deliver and invoice your session
• To contact you about your booking, your images, or a follow-up session you asked about
• To improve our website and measure our advertising
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

• Hostinger, which hosts this website
• Google, for analytics and advertising measurement
• Our email, payment and accounting providers, to communicate with you, take your deposit and keep our records

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

How long we keep it

• Gallery photos on the Customer Access page: two months after they are posted
• Emails and booking details: as long as needed to provide your session and any follow-up you request
• Invoices and payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require
• Analytics data: according to the retention period set in Google Analytics

How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and our email, files and website administration are protected by password-restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, but if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, except where we must keep it for legal, tax or accounting reasons. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Send your request to violet@violetgorgi.com and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Links and embedded content

Our site links to other websites, such as Google Maps for directions, Gmail and Outlook. When you follow those links, the other site’s own privacy policy applies.

Children

This website is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
